How to Achieve Your Dreams & Avoid the “Made for More” Burnout with Lindsey Fleischhauer of Totes Babies

This “Mom is Made for More” culture can be a bit confusing for us. Do I want more than being a mom? Should I want more? What if I don’t? What if I DO and I don’t know where to start? Perhaps there are fears that you’ll fail, it will be overwhelming, or that you’re just not cut out for that dream right now.

Maybe you’re back and forth on this and find yourself comparing to others and what they’re doing. She’s achieving this, she’s spending this much time with her kids, that one seems to do it all, and the other one over there seems so happy to be at home with her children.

It’s time to talk to Lindsey about this topic of us feeling we are “Made for More” and making that definition our OWN. Your “more” is different than anyone else’s on this planet. Listen to Lindsey as she talks about achieving her dream to work with her dad to create Totes Babies, raising 2 boys under the age of 4, taking a chance applying to ABC’s “Shark Tank” and getting not one but THREE offers. On the outside she may seem like she’s doing it all and crushing it (I hate that word btw) but in reality, she has her own terms and ways she’s achieved these things without having a nervous breakdown.

Lindsey is a real, honest and relatable mom and entrepreneur that will definitely have you breathing a bit easier and feeling more confident how to define what YOU need outside of motherhood. She is definitely someone you want sitting on your couch.

Lindsey’s invention and company, www.totesbabies.com, is changing the way you shop with your baby. I only WISH I had this when Brooklyn was an infant as I piled bread, oranges, workout clothes from Target, and more throw pillows than I needed from Home Goods on her while she was in her car seat. It seems so foolish that I would walk into a store, grab a cart, and 95% of the cart was my massive car seat!
